I received messages from an entity disguised as McDonald’s McCafe Espresso and Drinks offering $400/wk payment for advertising their decal on my vehicle. In an email message, I was advised to use a percentage of the check to pay an auto dealer to attach the logo adhesive. Although no decal was sent, I was sent a $2490.00 business check without providing any service contributions. I called the Bank and account holder organization and learned many relevant inconsistencies that raised additional suspicions of the legitimacy of the McCafe decal advertising business and fraudulent counterfeit checks.
