Type of a scam Phishing
Phishing email purporting to be from ScamPulse.com in response to consumer complaint claiming our company is violating the health and safety act and demanding response within 48 hours.
1) Company does not sell to consumers.
2) Nothing we make or use violates any health or safety. We do business analytics.
The tipoff is use of the strange phrase, Compliant Department. Either a misspelling of the word Complaint, or improper use of adjective Compliant to describe a ScamPulse.com department, which doesn’t make sense. Either way, unlikely to emanate from BBB.
I dont know how to take a picture of the email I received so as to provide an example.
Didn’t follow the link they provided for fear of getting malicious software
