Type of a scam Debt Collections
The business called and said I owed money due to a closed People Bank account. I remember closing the bank account myself because it was too far from me and all was settled. I called the bank and they verified they never sent me to collections because there was no debt. Also a reputable collections agency would know Texas only allows collections from 4 yrs back and this was almost 10 yrs ago.
