The scammer called my cell phone and said "thank you for using Marriott" and then claimed I had won an all-inclusive hotel package. The caller asked me to confirm my phone area code and it took me by surprise, so I said yes. I was suspicious so I asked whether they had called the right person since I’m a student and they hung up on me.
