Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a Priority Mail envelop from Market Force. Enclosed was a check/ money order from Chase Bank in the amount of $1,680.00. The instructions said to deposit in my account and then withdraw it for use on a Secret Shopper. I was to use Wal-mart money transfer service and send to Jonathon Wilson 779 Texas St, Houston, Texas ,77002. Then email receipt along with evaluation on customer service,their transfer service, etc. The amount to be wired $1300. I was to keep $300. and spend no more than $50. on personal items so I could evaluate the store as a whole. I went online and found their website and what I read did not go along with the letter. When I looked on the ScamPulse.com website, it said this business was closed. I did not follow the instructions, but not sure what to do with ck.
