Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a text message saying I was eligible to become a secret shopper and earn extra money. I looked up the company and it seemed legit so I filled out the form. I forgot all about it and then about a week later I received another text message saying I was selected to be a secret shopper and that I would be receiving more information in the mail the next day. I opened the package to a $1,400 check and instructions on how I was supposed to cash the check and buy the products. I looked up the company again because this seemed too good to be true. Turns out it was all a scam.
