Type of a scam Rental
I was looking for a house to rent online. I got an email from Mark Hicks at [email protected] which reads:
"My apologies for getting back with you late, i have been on the road because of my new job. The house is still available for rent. Rent is $685 while the security deposit is also $685, dogs and cats allowed. The house is ready for move in and the utilities included are water and electricity. The house is for rent now but myself and my family would be really interested in a lease to own in the future. Here is the address to the house: *** Matthias Dr, Columbus, OH 43224. Attached are more pictures of the interior and exterior so you have a perfect view as i will not be available to conduct the showing in person due to the recent relocation of my family to Georgia because of my job transfer and that is the reason why we are making the house available for rent more also we decided to make the monthly rent significantly low and affordable as good faith for my happiness on my promotion at my job. "We are conducting the renting from here In Georgia ourselves,so after driving by the house at your earliest convenience to have a physical look at it from the outside,if you like what you see and wish to proceed on the moving forward, you have to send me an email requesting for rental application so if your application look good to me and my wife then we can talk about getting the keys to see the inside of the house,making payment and signing of the lease agreement"
