Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I posted an ad to sell my violin on Cragslist for 65 dollar. I got a message immediately that this man’s wife" was interested in the violin and I should message her with her email. Upon contacting this person she said she would pay me an extra 50 dollar if I would wire money that she needs to pick up furniture 1625 dollar through a cashiers check. The check was through one main financial which is a loan company immediately looked it up. She said she wants me to keep 145 dollar and send the rest of the money to an address that was for the mover to pick up furniture. She said I need to send it ASAP through Money Gram.
