Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
My son met a girl named Mary on Instagram and she sent him a check in the mail for $3,500.00. I looked at the cashiers check and thought it looked suspicious so I took it to my bank to verify. The bank said it was a fake check so I did not cash the check.
