Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Applied online for a loan and got a call saying I was approved but had to verify I had funds to pay back loan. Was askes to verify funds by purchasing $500 in Steam cards and giving them the codes. I would then receive a link to get my money back. Shawn Williams as the guy calles himself got upset and hung up on me when I refused to give him the codes without the link first. I then received another call from him the same night trying to convinve me to give him the codes. I again refused. I have received at least 2 more calls from him but have not answered them.
