Type of a scam Employment
I received a text message stating, "Walmart in need of short term shoppers for it’s review. Earn 345 dollars shopping, learn and apply via www.walmarthr.org you will receive SMS confirmation via text." I clicked the link and it asked for my name, address, my current employment status, and my age range. I filled it out and sent it in. I was immediately emailed by someone saying my application was accepted. The email stated, "In reference to your Walmart survey we are happy to let you know your application has been approved your agency number will be 9660 please save that number as it will be used for future reference. Assignment package/payment as well as stater-pack will be processed and sent to your mailing address, look forward to receiving it via USPS. To be assigned a coordinator send an sms stating your name agency number to 507-237-6643."
I assume now I wait for my package of "assignments."
