Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
Hi, I have a quick question to ask, a company called me and advised me that I owe them money for an online loan. I have no idea what they are talking about. I asked them if they could provide me with the name of this company that I supposedly took the loan out with, and they could not. I do believe this to be a fraud and scam going around. What is so ironic, they did provide me with the last four digits of my social security number. Their phone number is 1-855-607-3770.
Where can I report this at and whom did I need to contact. The gentleman advised me to go ahead and take care of this debt today to avoid going to court, he told me I can take care of it now, he told me if I went to court that I would lose this case, for I cant prove I didn’t take out this loan. I have no idea who he is, and how he got the last four digits of my social security number.
