Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Secret shopping scam sends phony check for $2900. Instructions are to use $2500 to buy eBay gift cards and keep $400 for efforts. Once purchased, send gift card numbers to them and wait for further instructions. They rush you to do it ASAP because the check is bogus and will not clear.
So I got a priority mail letter it has a cashier’s check with a short letter telling me what to do with it I don’t have a bank account so I could not do what they wanted this is the second time I got a check I found out it was a scam well so is this one apparently
