I was napping and received a call saying that as I always paid on time that I could lower my interest rate on my credit card. I thought that sounded good, but as I started giving more and more information I became suspicious that this was a scam. I gave them my cc number and expiration date, the last 4 of my social security number and when they asked for my banking information I hung up.

I received a call from someone claiming to lower my credit card interest rates, the caller had an Indian accent, and try to forcefully get my information. They also tried to contact me the night before. The male caller then got aggressive when I refused to give him my credit card number and expiration date. The caller eventually hung up.
