Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
i was contacted and told that i was being sued for an online payday advance that i never took out.they wanted me to wire them the amount owed ($864)or the sheriff will arrest me on the spot.they told me that they will serve me with a warrant and will be taken into custody until the money was paid.they also told me that i couldn’t pay with a credit card ,i had to either get a gift card or a wire transfer.i contacted the sheriffs department and was told it was a scam.
