Type of a scam Online Purchase
About a month ago I ordered an iphone X from a person named La Para Rodriguez on facebook marketplace. He told me to deposit $100 as downpayment and after a month I can pay him the rest of the amount. I paid him $100 through western union. He told me that he will send the phone through UPS as soon as I pay him $100. Whenever I would ask him for tracking number he kept on saying that UPS did not send him the tracking number yet. Weeks passed by and he kept on giving excuses. Eventually he blocked me on facebook and whenever I would call him he would say he is at work even at 1 at night which I think was a lie. When he did not respond I contacted him through his sister whom I found on his facebook profile. He was angry about it and again said that UPS did not send me the tracking number yet. Even after like 2 weeks he kept on saying that. About few weeks ago he told me that the package returned because he entered the wrong delivery address. He told me that he needs more money to send the package again but I told him to refund me the money. After days he sent me the MTCN number but I checked on western union and it says that MTCN does not exist and there is no transaction on that number. I think it is a scam and I request you to please contact him and ask him to refund back my money. I am attaching his details further.
