Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I received a letter and check for 2,150.00 and asked to be a secret shopper for Wallmart then send call, or e-mail them the results and receipts for the products bought. The instructions were very specific and told the assignment need to be completed in 3 days . I was caught in 2 other scams and I learned the signs to look for a scam. I checked into things and knew it was a scam just by the evelopeit was delivered in and the wording of the letter. I never did cash the check or did the asignment.Also the check looked like a fake.
