The tree trimming business received a text message from Kenny Camp, a potential customer, requesting that the business go out to his recently purchased house and provide a bid for tree trimming. The customer requested to pay via credit card. The business informed the customer that the business only accept cash or check, and the customer stated he would pay for the business to set up a merchant account to accept his credit card. The customer stated that he was currently out of town for cancer treatment and needed the work done while out of town.
The customer provided two separate addresses for the property, both of which are currently for sale but have not been recently sold. The addresses were also verified to not belong to Kenny Camp or someone going through cancer treatments.
