Type of a scam Phishing
My husband received a call from a woman who claimed to be from
KC Medical Legal Services. She wanted to verify his name when he
picked up and he said ‘yes’ it was him (his name).
She said she was calling regarding an accident that occurred in April.
My husband did not have an accident. He got off the phone with her
and told me what happened.
I called from my phone and she would not identify herself except to
say she works for the company KC Medical Legal Services but could
not give out any information about the person (s) she works for.
She was concerned as to why we were calling her and wanted to know
who we were….
We hung up.
