I applied for a position with Kasco Construction June 12, 2016 through an online job board www.ziprecruiter.com. The following month a Mr. Jason Davalos from HR with Kasco Construction reached out to me regarding the position. He explained that Kasco was opening their US outlet in Chicago and he thought I was a great candidate for the position. We communicated through email and finally there was a phone interview. I received an offer letter and I accepted.
On July 22, 2016 I received a cashier’s check via UPS in the amount of $4,860.00. The remitter was not Kasco Construction. It was an individual by the name of Jessica Roberts.
I played Mr. Davalos the entire day gathering as much information as I possibly could. All information given to me was fraudulent. The office location and everything quoted in the offer letter attached.
