Type of a scam Debt Collections
First I recvd a call from a man and gave the name of Kyle Johnson and said he was a Legal Carrier and that I would be served court documents on 3/30/17 to my home. He offered me to call Kane Wexler & Associates. He gave the phone number of 844-523-5134 and a Case Number. I called the number, Spoke to supposedly an attorney called David Black. He had my Credit report, knew my SS# and all of my addresses in the past 15 yr. They also sent me an esignature form for Northern Alliance Management. They said I owed over $3000 for a past due CC from 2008. If I settled today they would get it reduced to $1271.64 which they then charged my Debt card. I immediately called bank, called credit bureaus to report them and to also protect my credit and my SS#
I filed a police report with local police dept. I contacted MN General Attorney office
