Type of a scam Online Purchase
Close to mid May, I was contacted via Instagram regarding purchasing a swim suit. The company website at the time (www.kaihili.com) seemed like a normal retailer’s website. I made a purchase from them on May 16, 2018 of $20.93. I purchased a swim suit in a size small, and a wine color. When I received my order summary, it showed a swimsuit size medium, and white color. I requested a refund by contacting their customer service via email, as well as their instagram account due to my purchase being incorrect. I did not get an email responde via email, only one via Instagram. Their excuse for not responding was due to “high amounts of emails.” Almost a month later, and I still was not contacted via email, I have not received an order tracking number (even after requested), and I still have not received my product I ordered. My bank received a red flag for fraud, and issued me a new card shortly after I made the purchase. By “shortly after” I mean within less than a week after my purchase. This company is claiming to be in high dollar magazines, but there is no credentials saying so. They also do not have any contact info (no phone number, nor address) other than via email. I do believe this company is a scam.
