Hello-
Thank you for listening. We went to purchase music concert tickets to out favorite band online the day of the concert because we did not have the money prior to the day of for full price. We texted with this person all day for tickets and paying through Apple Pay. Called Apple Pay and our bank to confirm that the payment was sent and never received tickets. They claimed that they never received the money and that is why they could not send the tickets. Learned that the Apple Pay phone number where money was being sent to was different from the Craigslist post – My husband sent the apple pay while I texted the other number so there was no way to catch this prior to the exchange. The person texting claimed that they could not accept Venmo, payPal or Zelle and ONLY Apple Pay. Since then the post has been removed and we were only purchasing 2 of the 4 available tickets.

I posted an item for sale on Craigslist. It was for the Collectible Necronomicon II. I am selling it for $30. This person contacted me and said they will add another $30 to the check (probably much more) and they will be sending me a cashier’s check. They apologized for not being able to come down and see the item. I am to contact them when the "check clears."
I replied to the email asking them why they would add $30 to the item price. I then told them that I only accept cash. I then sent them another email stating that this sounds fishy. I told them that I would expect that they would try to send me a bad check. They couldn’t even reference the item. I told them that I was reporting them and this is a scam.
Their reply was to send me the original email again. It looks like a form letter. It was exactly like the first email. Again no reference to the item mentioned.

best offer , i would be paying you with a Cashier check which would be

a verytight schedule but i believe the condition is exactly as said.

the mailing of the check
