I had read the article about the phone scam with people asking if you can hear them. Just a minute ago I received a phone call and the guy said, "hi my name is josh with the customer service department, can you hear me okay?" He never said what business he was with, which automatically made me skeptical. The only thing I said was what business are you with? He wouldn’t answer me so I just hung up. I posted a Facebook post saying not to answer that number that it’s a scam. The number is from cherryville, NC. This number also called my fiancé, lol, but she’s not dumb either

I received a phone call from 213-205-3354 (shows as originating in Los Angeles, CA on my cell phone) at 11:53am on Feb 6, 2017. I said hello 2-3 times with no answer. A man’s voice then said, " This is Josh from customer service, can you hear me?" I replied yes. I heard a few sentences about being selected for a special Disney vacation. I said "No thank you" several times but it seemed to be a recording so I hung up. As soon as I hung up, I remembered hearing about the "Can you hear me scam" and wanted to report this incident.
