Type of a scam Employment
I requested a list of virtual and part-time employment.
I did not submit a resume.
I received correspondence from Johnathon Johnson saying that he selected me, without ever speak to me, to be his personal assistant. I had given the reliable job site my e-mail, address, and phone number. Mr. Johnson overnighted am over $2000 cashiers check from a credit union for me to me to assist him to send posters from his “Art Gallery” because he was too busy traveling during Covid 19. He emailed that he was too busy to speak with me until next month. I did not cash the check and did call the FBI. The FBI told me that if I had cashed the check a hacker would have attached themselves to my bank account and my identity.
