This person sent me a golf ball via USPS. The ball is not marked with any name or number. It was in a baggy with a sticker in a padded envelope. When I Googled the return address, it came back as a Conoco gas station in Auburn, Alabama. The baggie had Chinese type on it and I had an aid in our school translate. It just said that it was a practice golf ball. No instructions or shipping label was included. I contacted law enforcement and they said I could just throw it away and report it.

Brushing scam (I assume). Received a small green cat scratching post that I did not order. Addressed to myself and sent to my primary address. Return address was not someone that I recognized.

we received a package in the mail from an address we didn’t recognize. I could tell it was clothing inside the package and thought it might be something my wife had ordered or a gift from extended family that I did not know. Upon opening the package I found a small onesie just perfect size for my infant. when I asked my wife if she knew who it was from and she did not know either we both became very alarmed. it is deeply troubling that someone out there shipping clothing and possibly knowing details about our family. We checked the address online and it’s a business in Alabama whose address has been used in many of these scams. we have never heard of brushing and never had any sort of identity theft issues. It is troubling also that the US Postal Service continues delivering counterfeit products apparently from overseas.

Type of a scam Tax Collection

I received a call from 613-366-7350 telling me to call immediately to deal with criminal charges being brought against me for delinquent taxes. This is evidently a fraud. The message was recorded. The message was menacing.
