This company called my father and said a warrant would be issued for my arrest if I did not call them back within two hours. When I called the number they provided, I was told it was an attempt to collect a debt that was over ten years old. I requested three times to have proof of the debt provided to me in writing and all three times I was told they could not provide it and didn’t have to. The supervisor then tried to trick me into saying I owed the debt on a recorded line.
Two days later, they called my sister and said she is listed as my next of kin and she will be responsible if I don’t call them back. At that point, I returned their call one final time and told them to cease and desist and to place me on their do not call list. I was informed they don’t have a do not call list. I repeated my request once more and said they are required to have a do not call list.
I will move forward with legal action if the calls continue.

My daughter in law just received a call regarding me, saying I had two hours to call them or be summoned. 1st: sounds like scam (you don’t get summoned over the phone) 2nd: don’t know how they linked me with her #. 3rd: I called just to see and they said it was a civil matter and started asking personal information. That’s when I cut them off. BIG RED FLAG: a legitimate company wouldn’t do this via phone, it would come via mail.

I received a phone call from a Logistics Locating service. Caller id showed Joanne Collins 251-279-9181 that gave me this 1-866-340-3728 to call and reference a file id# and when you call they call themselves Johnson and Edwards company they say they are a financial group collecting on debt from Stream Energy saying that I owe 1278.88 and that we can settle today xx amount of dollars otherwise they are putting a judgement on me for 10 years for this and going to garnish my wages. They have my job and the last 4 digits of my social and last known address from 3 years ago and a name I have never went by.
