Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Scammer(s) had a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 truck for sale, an unbeatable deal. Low miles, clean, low price. Claimed they were in the military and getting ready to go to Europe. Needed to sell the truck quickly (within 10 days), didn’t want the truck sitting forever. Ad was found on Craigslist, but did "business" through eBay. Provided legitimate looking invoice, along with case numbers, VIN number matching truck desrciption, pictures of a truck (interior and exterior). I contacted eBay for tracking info and they told me it was a scam.
