Type of a scam Tax Collection
I received a call from 2096764450 today stating I own IRS money. I called back. A lady with Indian accent answered the call and stated I called IRS investigation office. She asked me why I have called and my first and last name. After a while, she had my address and other information. She stated that my own IRS $6500.00. She gave me two options: 1). Go to federal court in DC. 2). Pay over the phone. I told her that I need to speak to my accountant. I was told that I need to pay right away and should not hung up otherwise an arrest warrant would be issued. At this point I realize that the call is a scam and hung up the phone.
