This individual identified himself as IRS agent Williams and said he was collecting past due taxes. If I did not give him the information requested, I would be arrested in 24 hours. I hung up and waited two minutes. called them back and informed them that the number would be turned in. After five minutes, I used my cell phone to call the number and got the same response. This number is still active

Type of a scam Tax Collection
I have received calls from this number trying to collect back taxes. I currently have an agreement with the IRS and they stated in writing that I would not be notified by phone as long as scheduled payments are made. The call was from TX. I called back twice and they stated that it was a valid claim.
