Type of a scam Tax Collection
Recieved 6 threatning phone calls in 6 hours. They stated I owed back taxes, and it was sent to my local district court. They stated I will go to jail if I didnt respond and pay them immediately. I told the caller to remove my name from call list. I stated I dont have a tax debt, he laughed, refused to answer yes to removing my name, continuing to laugh till he hung up on me.

Type of a scam Identity Theft
This number called and left a auto message. I called back and his answer was investigation department of the internal revenue service. When I asked what his title was he hung up. Clearly, a scam. If the IRS is trying to reach you they will answer the phone appropriately and furthermore, they would not call you with an auto message .
