Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
the scammer contacted me via the offer up app. I was selling a pair of shoes and the scammer sent a fake cashier’s check for the product through FEDEX and he overnighted the check and was very eager for me to deposit it into my account. I refused to send the shoes because the check was beyond my asking price. He had a fake name and multiple identites because my wife called the number and he stated a different name.
