Type of a scam Government Grant

The Scammer hacked my Facebook profile and retrieved my picture and messaged Facebook friends as if I was telling them about grant monies received from government, stating I had received $60,000.00 for paying $300.00. I reported this to local Police Department.

Type of a scam Government Grant

Friend was actually retiring and saw pics on FB. Fraudulent person (posing as my friend) says she applied for Gov’t grant for retirees and got free money. Person then gives me a number to contact her agent. Phone does not answer but I get a text from him (probably the same person). Then he says it’s so easy, just give him some basic identification information (nothing invasive) like name phone number address, etc. nothing they couldn’t get online. Then he sends me info to send the $2000 fee to receive the $90,000 in grant money (You can choose up to $500,000) but the fee goes up. Lowest fee is $1500 to receive $50,000. They will wire it to my account.

I then actually called my friend and find out that her FB account was "hacked" several weeks ago. Then, I knew it was a fraud.

Here is fraudulent information:

You Pay $1,500 and get $50,000,00.

You pay $2,000 and get $90,000,00.

You pay $4,000 and get $200,000.00

You pay $6,000 and get $300,000.00

You pay $8,000 and get $400,000.00

You pay $10,000 and get $500,000.00
