Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes

I was told I won Publisher Clearing House prize 1.2 million and a car, all taxes paid. (I have entered a PCH sweepstakes a few weeks ago). I would receive my prizes by wiring a three hundred and ninety five dollar "handling fee" at a Western Union site at Walmart or RiteAid. I asked them to send confirmation by e-mail and was told they were not allowed to do that. I was told to call back the number and I would be in contact with the bank manager of Government Merchant Bank for transfer of the prize money and the handling fee (cash only). I became suspicious when the female bank manager had the same foreign accent as Mr. John Jones, the original caller. They both tried to convince me to claim my "prize" today, even though I told them that I had the entire day off tomorrow. I was at work but was called originally on my cell phone. I got a chance to check out the ScamPulse.com website a hour later.

Thank you so much for posting the Scam Alert. I was told exactly the same thing as on the Sweepstakes scam alert except they were from Birmingham, Alabama.
