Type of a scam Other

A person claiming to be my mothers grandson called her on her home phone and said he had gone to a funeral out of state in youngstown Ohio, had been involved in a wreck and was in jail on a DUI and needed money to bond out. He said the bondsman would call her in 5 minutes. The bondsman (Jimmy Smith) said the grandson’s bail had been reduced to $1093.00. He stated he couldn’t take a bank card and the money would have to be wired from Walmart to Walmart. And, after further inquiries the money was to be wired to an account in the Dominican Republic to a woman by the name of Olga Maria Tavaraz-Acevedo. With a 10 minute pickup time. Thank God I interceded and figured out it was a scam.
