Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Have received a check for $1,850.00 by Priority Mail stating I have been chosen to be part of their Intellishop Secret Shopper program. I was to deposit the check then send them 2 Money Gram Money Orders purchased at WalMart Money Service Center – one money order for $785 & another for $795. Then I was to go to Walmart & make a purchase of less than $50 to base the survey on. There would be a $20 service charge on both Money Orders. Then do a in-store survey of Walmart. Also noted on bottom of check it states that the Drawer: Boeing Employees’ Credit Union & Purchaser a Laurie McCormick.
