Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I received a phone call this morning from this phone number 614-420-2649, it was a lady and she said she was with Franklin Financial and I had been approved for a loan that I had applied for on the internet and ask how much I needed. I told her $5000 and she said all I had to do was activate my PPI INSURANCE ACCT which was $270 and it would be refunded after my first payment on the loan which would be $221 a month for 2 years….of course this sounded to good to be true and started asking questions and she told me they wee registered with the BBB since 1997 and I could check out their website @ instantloan.net so, I did and I also checked with BBB and when I tried calling the # back that she called from it won’t go through and the number she gave me to call if I had any questions was 614-569-2662 and it was a foreign man and I ask him what their FCA # was and he had no clue as to what that even was. I told him I thought they were a scam and he said ok, if you think it’s a scam you can hang up so, I did and now I’m reporting them and I hope nobody falls for this.
