Looking for part-time job on indeed.com she contacted me, said I would work for her as her personal assistant running errands and paying bills for her since she busy alot, ill and need an assistant. She said I would be an independent contractor, I believed that since this was from indeed it was legitimate, and she turned out to be fake. I honestly look for a side job on indeed.com and this is what I have to go through. Very upset! It’s sad.

There is a job posting for an Office Assistant position for "Best Builders, Inc." in Little Rock, AR. This is a phony ad for the position. The scammer is posing as the principal officer named Lewis Jones and contacting applicants via email offering them the job. Then he sends an email to the applicant asking for more information such as bank account info for direct deposits, etc.

I am the principal officer at Best Builders, Inc. and we did not post that job listing. I have talked to Indeed and they have removed the job listing. However, I have heard from some applicants that are contacting our office directly there are some other sites that have a link to that job listing somewhere else online.

I received an email from CareerBuilder from someone named Mallory for Indeed.com. They had a Staffing Coordinator position for Indeed.com which was part time and work from home making 700 weekly. Sounded legit to me at first, filled out application and went through the process. All emails were from a Donald Hayes in which all my questions were answered also. I thought it was odd after I was accepted and no one had called me for a interview. When filling out my final paperwork they ask for my bank account from specific banks which I don’t belong to, so I told Donald I would need time to set them up and in the mean time will take my check through mail. He responded the only make payments through their bank account and asked which bank do I belong to. I feel bad I gave my personal information, I didn’t give my social or bank info but they do have my address. I’m just praying nothing serious happens to me.

I applied to one of the jobs that i viewed on Indeed.ca for a Staffing Coordinator role at Indeed and forwarded my resume and cover letter to the email given in the job ad . I got response back from Jackie Richard email [email protected] stating that i have been selected in the hiring process for Staffing Coordinator role at Indeed . She emailed me a test and job application form to fill in , I completed all the details as asked for and was waiting for her response . She responded with a job offer and asking to deposit $2985 CAD to my account to send it to a vendor for equipment . That`s where I felt its a scam and thought of reporting it right away .

I am an honest ,hardworking Individual looking for legitimate career for myself , I have nothing to do with these scams , Please help me understand how to save myself from all this
