Type of a scam Online Purchase

I believe this to be a scam because of my experience with the vendor in question. I made a good faith purchase from a Facebook vendor on April 27, 2020 and paid using my credit card. The very next week the same product was advertised for less than 50% of what I paid.

When I contacted the vendor to cancel my order, this is what I got: "Thank you for your patience. After checking, we found that your parcel has been shipped. The tracking number is FEIZF1702001133YQ under the carrier FEIA and it usually takes 30-40 working days to arrive after shipment. Attached is a picture of the shipping details. Here is the tracking link you can get your order status:https://t.17track.net/

Please keep your phone on in case the carrier is unable to contact you. If you have not received this order until the last day, please feel free to contact us and we will do our best to help you and provide a satisfactory solution.

Due to the global spread of COVID-19, many countries were seriously affected by COVID-19. The epidemic has caused a large delay in logistics delivery. The riots in many places are undoubtedly worsening this situation. The combination of various force majeure factors makes it more difficult to ensure the logistics time limit. We are so sorry for all the inconvenience caused by the delay. Sincerely hope you could kindly understand and wait patiently.

Hope you will receive your goods as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us."

There was no picture attached. To date, I have not received my merchandise nor a reasonable explanation as to why, neither have I been provided with a means by which to track said merchandise.
