I just received a call claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. They did not use a name or social security number during the call to identify who they were trying to contact. They stated there was a problem with my SSA account. I didn’t fall for it.

I received 8 calls between 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM with an automated voice mail stating that "they have found many suspicious activities on my social security number and before we go ahead and suspend it kindly call us back on our number which is 1-313-924-3861." I did return the call to see what they had to say and they had my name and wanted me to confirm the address and last 4 digits of my social security number. I did not acknowledge this and said I would have to do my own checking and get back to him. He stated he was Officer Jason McCoy badge # IRC191210 and that I had a criminal case against me in Texas for money laundering and if I did not call them back in the next half hour that they would have to suspend my social security number along with all of my bank accounts.
