Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Our company receive an invoice from a company called IMAGE + PLUS, 3651 La Brea Ave Ste 191, LA 90016, in the amount of $642.70 for the purchase of 2 HPLJ 5000 Copy Toner. It had my name as purchaser. I do all the office supply purchasing for our company, and I have not spoken to anyone at this company nor ever ordered anything from them. I believe this is a long standing scam that has been going on for years and want people to be aware that it is still around.

We received an invoice for "2 HPLJ5000 Copy Toner." We never ordered or received these items. This HP printer model is very old. They list the name of our Tech Director as the person that ordered the toner and this is just not the case.
We have all our printers/copiers on a maintenance and supplies contract with a major copier/printer company for just this reason.
I’ve attached a PDF copy of the invoice that arrive in today’s mail, as well as a copy of the envelope in which it arrived.
The address listed on their invoice is a mailbox place location not a store front; also the phone number they list under our school name belongs to another private school in our area.

I RECEIVED AN INVOICE FOR COPY TONER I NEVER ORDERED OR RECEIVED FOR A COPIER WE DO NOT HAVE. MY ATTEMPT TO REACH THE COMPANY WAS MET WITH VOICEMAIL EVERY TIME, FUNNY FOR A COMPANY SELLING OFFICE SUPPLIES TO GO TO VOICEMAIL…HMMM
