Type of a scam Utility
I get these phone calls almost daily. A foreign sounding person gives me their common English first name and states they are from the Illuminating Company contacting me about my account. Well I don’t have an Illuminating account so right off the bat I know it’s a scam. I try to get as much info from them as possible but it’s all lies anyway. Then I tell them that they should be ashamed of their criminal acts and that they will be caught and made to pay for it. It’s about the only thing I can do. Is there somewhere else we can report this? Can’t one of our government agencies find these people already?
