First, please be advised the scammer utilized various aliases (IFIX PC, SRI IT SOLUTIONS INC, SERVE SOLUTIONS. Initially I was approached on April 11&14 this year by email stating they were a DELL affiliate claiming to provide technical support. The scammer claimed there were viruses that needed to be removed and to give remote access, of course I sensed something was off however the scammer continued in legitimizing his claim. The scammer advised there were various packages to choose from, 1-3 year service plans to include full 24/7 on sweep assistance. The scammer did not request any bank information or any demographic information however proceeded to persuaded for me buy prepaid " I Tune Cards" at the local Pharmacy. On another occasion the scammer claimed the Anti-virus’ installed did not take using this time a Voorhess NJ and Boca FL address claiming that the company had over 200 Offices Nation Wide. At this point I comforted the scammer telling him he was a scammer and to not contact me any longer as I would contact the local authorities. These scammers speak with Hindu accents using typical american names such as Tom Smith, Scott Miller and Steve Anderson. Beware of these scammers as well as others like them on the WEB. If you have not solicited services from a legitimate company then you know they are not legit. Finally, change your passwords more frequent, report spam- contact local bank as well as your local authorities, I hope this helps everyone reading this, please pass it on to your fiends and loved ones especially those that are at higher risk to be targeted. God Bless!
