Tried to hook up HP printer. Had problems, turned on computer and this company was in my computer was told computer had virus. Person said $460.00 to repair. Company repaired computer and re-programmed computer. Was told to hold up my check for the company to take a picture for the company that repaired it. I held up the check. Did not feel right about this so I went to bank and cancelled check and open new account.

Type of a scam Identity Theft
I placed a call into Amazon.com for assistance last evening 9/7/17. I was referred automatically over to a firm which was represented as IDT Info Solutions LLC. The individual on the phone indicated that they were affiliated with Amazon.com for purposes of IT security issues. They told me that my computer had been infected with torcon viruses and that I needed to have this resolved immediately. They quoted me a $438 lifetime network security solution and misrepresented themselves as this solution can be acquired at no cost over the Internet. Moreover, this company is not affiliated with Amazon.com and contrary to their statements to me, they are not endorsed by the ScamPulse.com. I am seeking advice regarding how to avoid having to pay this fee as I now understand this identical problem has been experienced by many individuals connecting with the Amazon.com. Please advise.
