Type of a scam Employment
Replied to a CL ad for "part time employment real estate photographer needed!" Huletz Real Estate Group emailed me back with detailed instructions for how they wanted their photos taken, an independent contractor contract form which I was to sign ("before I could be given any assignments") and a W-9 Form to fill out and return via email or fax. I googled the company name and all seemed legitimate.Their email stated that I would be receiving additional training tips as well as login information to their system for uploading photos. I returned the filled out forms (with my SSN!!) and sent them back by email attachment. Then I received an email asking which areas I would be available. At this point the emails seemed less professional and made me wonder if I was dealing with someone who just wanted to steal my identity. I have not received any further emails regarding this job.
