At first there was a letter saying a person with same last name of mine who died and have unclaimed death benefit insurance of $7,520,000. At first I thought it was real cause same last name of mine. He was sending proof of death certificate, sworn affidavit of claim, letter of administration from Totonto Courthouse. It was getting interesting to me. Then he was sending death benefit claim form from AVIVA INSURANCE. I went along until this process was approved and there’s a wire payment instructing you to pay certain amount and another processing fee to transfer money to your account from ISLINGTON CREDIT UNION. This is when I realized this could be scam because I never heard an insurance company collecting fee from beneficiary in order to received death benefit. It was a scam for sure.
