I have received a letter from Philip Hughes claiming to be a partner at Hughes and Associates LLC law firm addressed to me personally. The letter was titled as a "business proposition". See the attached JPG file for an actual content of the latter, suggesting on an "unclaimed ‘permanent life insurance policy’ unsure for Seven Million Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($ 7,520,000.00) with top Life Insurance Company here in Toronto, Ontario Canada." The letter goes on explaining that Mr. Anthony [same surname as mine] "died in an accident in Niagara, Ontario, Seven years ago." Mr Philip Hughes suggested that 10% of that amount to be shared among charity organizations, and the remaining "90% will be shared between us".

In the letter Mr. Philip Hughes urged me to respond in a timely manner and provided an email address, a phone number and a fax number as means for communication.

I’ve sent an email message to the provided email address suggesting that I don’t know the deceased Mr. Anthony [same surname as mine]. No response has been received back. No undelivered mail error message from Gmail has been received either.

This is a scam – don’t fall for it.
