I am looking for a boxer puppy. Found an on-line breeder beauboxers.net. Have communicated through text, asked for more pictures of the parents and puppy, email, and contacted by phone to make sure I was doing due diligence to NOT GET RIPPED OFF. After making Moneygram payment, I was told my puppy would be going to the airport today. I thought the extra 150.00 was for airline fees, etc. and I told seller I didn’t need courier service because I could pick the puppy up from the airport. Then the courier service calls (petcarrier.us) and wants $1150 for travel insurance that will be 100% refunded upon arrival. Immediately I call Moneygram (which says on the forms I can get a refund) but the transaction already went through so they were absolutely no help except essentially eluding to the fact I was an [censored]-thanks, already figured that out! So I asked for a refund, but scammers aren’t known for their honesty. I was told $600 would be refunded…but suddenly my phone is silent. I have lots of email/text proof, just not in formats that will upload to this website. Already filed a police report. Expensive mistake and now I don’t have the money to get a new dog!
