Please be aware about craiglist ads!! I contacted by email some craiglist ads because I wanted to adopt a Beagle puppy. One of them replies me (using this email: [email protected] Name: Olivia Abigail) with the following story: they are giving 2 pure breed Beagle Puppies out for an adoption with no adoption fee, this is because they just relocated to a non pets apartment and they can’t keep them any longer. The puppies are vet checked and will come with all necessary papers. They are 11 weeks old and are brother and sister. They will give me the puppies only if I promise don’t sell them and answer some questions that give them an idea where the puppies will be going to. They also, attached some pictures of them. There were some more emails describing the puppies and they decided to give me one of them. The only thing that I have to do is sending monthly pictures, so they can see the puppy process. Then, they suggested getting a pet transportation because they just relocated in WY in this address: 3700 MICHEAL DRIVE, JACKSON, WY 83025 and I was not in the area. Just paying transportation fee $300. I accepted it and sent them my information, name, address, phone number and nearest airport of my location. they said that it’s gonna take around an hour to do the process of the delivery and the transportation company will contact me by phone or email once that is done. As they said, I received an email from a fake company " Holy Pet Transportation Company" with a tracking number, description of the parcel to be sent: Sender information: name: Olivia Abigail, Address: 3700 MICHEAL DRIVE, JACKSON, WY 83025, and a puppy description, and the consignee information: my name, address, phone number, expected delivery date, puppy current status: pending payment, and the payment details: by zelle, using this email: [email protected] under this account name: Valentine Tantoh. As soon as the payment is done I had to send a screenshot of the payment. After read this email, It seemed strange to me because when I do a payment by Zelle to company is always under company name, then I tried to track the shipping but I couldn’t. Few minutes later I received a call from the transportation company to confirm that I received the email and make sure that I am going to do the payment. Again, it was so weird that the caller ID was from Texas 682-253, and the company was located in WY but the address in the web site was from MA, so I asked this to the person on the phone, who had an accent from Asia, and she couldn’t answer. then, she said that they are going to call back, they never did it. I tried to contact them many times but these phone numbers are out of service. I was lucky that they did not take anything from me.
