On facebook I saw an ad for this Hobbies Discount website. I placed and paid for an item online for $39.95. I received a confirmation email from "[email protected]" stating that the item would arrive within 2-3 weeks. To date (3/9/17) I have not received the item nor have I received a response to any of the 5 emails I’ve sent to them (1/15/17, 1/18/17, 2/7/17, 2/15/17, 3/9/17). On their website, they have a "track your order" page… When I attempt to do that multiple times, it states that my item was shipped on 12/25/16 with a USPS Tracking # along with a link. The link to the USPS tracking # indicates the tracking # is incorrect. Also, I attempted to post on their facebook site and they don’t allow individual posts. They only advertise more items. However, if you look at many of the "comments", individuals state that they too were scammed. https://www.facebook.com/HobbiesDiscount/

I purchased 2 items on Dec. 3, which were supposedly shipped on Dec. 6. Never received merchandise. 2 emails sent and ignored. Today I find on their website that the merch. was supposedly "fulfilled" on Dec. 22, but they were not delivered, so i don’t know what that means.

I saw this company advertising on FaceBook for several weeks, offering umbrellas. I placed an order 11/9/2016 for 3 umbrellas for Christmas gifts. When the order didn’t come but the charge appeared on my credit card, I started contacting the company. I used the contact e-mail: [email protected] twice and the instant messages board on their website: https://hobbiesdiscount.net and waited for a response that did not come.

Last night, I opened a case with the credit card company to request a refund of the amount charged by Hobbies Discount. I also wrote to the e-mail address: [email protected] canceling the order and stating that I had contacted the credit card company and planned to file a complaint with the ScamPulse.com and the FCC for fraudulent internet sales…..that e-mail generated a response at 7:12 a.m. EST, asking me to wait 15 more days for my products. Because the use of threats has been the only method to get a response from this company, it is my belief that this is a scam.

You place an order for items (Christmas gifts, in my case) they charge your credit card/account and send a confirmation email to say due to high traffic shipping may take up to 4 weeks. Upon inquiry they do not respond, are unable to be contacted, and refuse refund. And ultimately never send the product ordered.

In November I went to Facebook saw a video on a toy, clicked on video and then it linked to ‘HobbiesDiscount’. I purchased item via credit card . Received a statement with no order number, that they had received my order. They had a small logo printed on left upper corner that said Hobbies Discount.

Hobbies Discount links to ‘Fishingdiscount’ with the same style logo. The company that charged my credit card is called ‘Scorediscount’ . It is not possible to contact anyone via their ‘Contact Us’ section, there is no response. ScamPulse.com lists the business as not be in business and no phone numbers to the company work.

The Facebook pages the fishing one and the hobby one, have people complaining about their orders not be received so they must be a phishing phony rip off criminal scam.

I found their website through a Facebook ad and clicked through to purchase on their site. After making my purchase, I received a purchase confirmation email saying that they don’t provide tracking information and shipping will take 3-5 weeks. I was surprised at finding out about the 3-5 weeks, since the website had a big promotion saying "orders will arrive before Christmas" (2 weeks away). I contacted them through the "message us" button on their website. There was no response. Then I went to their Facebook page to see if I could get better customer service there, and I found that the page was full of complaints from other customers who never received their orders and never got responses to their communications. While reading their FAQs, I also noticed they referred to themselves as a DIFFERENT company name in the FAQs! So I googled that company and found a website that looked exactly like the one I had purchased from and sold the same products, just with a different business name. I found that second business on Facebook and sure enough, the page is full of complaints. It looks like they have multiple duplicate websites that are selling the same items and never fulfilling the orders (and never responding to customers).

Advertising products at a very discounted price. Pay for online. Receive order confirmation. Do not ever receive order. No response to e-mail inquiries, chats, posts. No phone number listed. All comments on FB page are from clients that have been cheated. I didn’t know about the FB page until after i placed my order.

Made a purchase from the company, hobbies discount.net…..paid for item. received email receipt for payment and saying it was processing. then received email nov 3 saying item had shipped. tracking number says item never left china. I have the emails. many other customers are blasting their facebook page, saying they haven’t received merchandise either. ive taken pictures. plese contact me. they are still doing business, and still scamming people

On Oct. 8 I ordered a Halloween costume from Hobbies Discount (scorediscount.com). At no point along the ordering process did it say they could take up to 4 weeks for delivery. Realizing it may not be delivered in time for Halloween, I immediately emailed them through their website to cancel my order.

On Oct. 11, I received an email saying my order had been shipped, but they wouldn’t be able to give me a tracking number. I once again emailed them telling them that I had emailed them to cancel my order and that I would have to take action with my credit card company if they chose not to respond.

On Oct. 14, I received an email stating that they had a problem shipping out my order because they have so many orders. I replied again to cancel my order.

At this point I don’t know if my order has even shipped and I’ve reached out to them three times to cancel my order and have not received any response outside of of automated ones. I don’t this company is a legitimate company, I thinks it’s a shell company used for scams and I’d like to dispute this transaction.
